Rally at County

Join us to show support for plastic reduction legislation!
Rally will begin at 8am at the steps to the County building followed by the Board of Supervisors meeting at 9am where you will have an opportunity to give public comment. We are waiting to hear when the item will be on the agenda.
According to Tim Goncharoff the following topics will be included:
- Discussion of cup charge and possibility of an election to direct use of funds collected (I think this is unlikely – lots of business opposition.)
- Approve in concept an ordinance to implement recycling program for plastic contact lenses
- Additional information on helium balloons
- Additional information on plastic microfibers
