Dockwalker Training

Are you interested in the Dockwalking program? Although Save Our Shores is not hosting Dockwalking events at this time, we will resume once it is safe to do so. If you’re interested in engaging local boaters in these important outreach topics, check out these upcoming training opportunities and you’ll be ready to jump into action when we resume!

As California continues to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, in 2021 California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways will be offering free three-hour virtual Dockwalker trainings through the Zoom video conferencing system. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, boaters continue to recreate in California’s waterways. As such, the need to share clean boating practices with California’s recreational community, while abiding to COVID-19 guidelines, remains important.
