Celebrate Earth Day right by conducting a cleanup at Twin Lakes State Beach! Help keep our beaches clean and healthy, and prevent marine debris from impacting our local ecosystems!
There will be approximately 15 participants at this event. Registration is required (You will be provided with a list of registrants before the event). Covid safety protocols will be followed. Participants are asked to use the Save Our Shores Marine Tally app and bring their own supplies, though SOS will provide disposable supplies including face masks, gloves, trash bags, etc.
Please be sure to:
- Be sure to follow and enforce our Social Distancing Cleanups Guidelines in addition to our normal safety precautions.
- Ensure that all participants (including yourself) complete all three waivers including SOS volunteer waiver AND Covid-19 waiver as well as a CA State Parks waiver and submit to SOS staff after the cleanup.
- Encourage participants to record data by using the Clean Swell Mobile App or by using the Ocean Conservancy’s data card (we will provide you with paper copies) and sending them to SOS staff.
- Complete an Event Report Back form and send to SOS staff.
- Record your hours.
