Holiday Relief Cleanup @ Beer Can Beach (public)

After the holidays our beaches need a little TLC! Conduct a cleanup at Beer Can Beach after Memorial Day Weekend! Help keep our beaches clean and healthy, and prevent marine debris from impacting our local ecosystems!

There will be approximately 15 participants at this event. Registration is required (Emily will provide you with a list of registrants before the event). Covid safety protocols will be followed. Participants are asked to use the Save Our Shores Marine Tally app and bring their own supplies, though SOS will provide disposable supplies including face masks, gloves, trash bags, etc.

Please be sure to:

1. Be sure to follow and enforce our Social Distancing Cleanups Guidelines in addition to our normal safety precautions.
2. Ensure that all participants (including yourself) complete a waiver AND Covid-19 waiver and submit to Emily after the cleanup.
3. Encourage participants to record data by using the free Save Our Shores Marine Tally App (Apple, Google) or by using a data card and filling out this form.
4. Complete an Event Report Back form and send to Emily (emily@saveourshores.org).
5. Record your hours.
