Nurdle Patrol is a new citizen science project Save Our Shores has joined to collect and document nurdles, aka plastic pellets, on our beaches along the Monterey Bay. Choose your favorite beach location, gather Nurdle Patrol supplies provided by SOS, and walk the tide line for 10 minutes collecting as many nurdles as you can find. This weekend is perfect to take advantage of the King low tide and search for nurdles!
Pick any day and beach that works best for you! Low tide is at 3:30pm on 12/13, and at 4:20pm on 12/14.
Once you have registered, please contact krista@saveourshores.org to coordinate a time for you to pick up the Nurdle Patrol supplies before you head out to the beach.
