Volunteer with us this Memorial Day as we engage beach visitors and encourage leave-no-trace principles, hand out trash bags to prevent litter from being left behind, and discuss why trash ending up in the ocean is harmful.
Please meet volunteers at the base of the stairs to Cowell Beach. There is limited parking, with water and restrooms available on site.

- Ensure that all participants sign a City of Santa Cruz waiver and submit to SOS staff after the cleanup. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardians signature and must have adult supervision throughout the event.
- Complete an Event Report Back form and send to staff after.
- Record your hours.
- Return your supplies to the office ASAP and clean your buckets.
