Lead a cleanup at Scott Creek Beach! During the rainy season, plastic and other debris can wash down the creek and end up along the shore or in the Monterey Bay. Help remove this debris to protect important steelhead trout and coho salmon habitat and our National Marine Sanctuary! The meetup location for this cleanup is on the concrete platform at the entrance to the beach.
- Be sure to follow and enforce our Social Distancing Cleanups Guidelines in addition to our normal safety precautions.
- Ensure that all participants (including yourself) complete all three waivers including SOS volunteer waiver AND Covid-19 waiver and submit to SOS staff after the cleanup.
- Ask participants to record data by using the free Save Our Shores Marine Tally App (Apple, Google) or by using data cards and filling out this form.
- Complete an Event Report Back form and send to Emily (emily@saveourshores.org).
- Record your hours.
