Public River Cleanup @ San Lorenzo River

Come join us in leading a river cleanup at the San Lorenzo River! Help us to clean up this critical ecosystem.

Please meet us on the riverwalk next to the pedestrian bridge, on River St. S- across the street from the DNA Comedy Lab.

Please be sure to:

1. 1. 1. Ensure that all participants sign a City of Santa Cruz waiver and submit to SOS staff after the cleanup. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardians signature and must have adult supervision throughout the event.
      2. Encourage participants to collect data by using the free Save Our Shores Marine Tally App (Apple, Google) or by using a data card and filling out this form.
      3. Ask participants to please remain on the levee, not to enter the water or the vegetation along the river, and to refrain from collecting any personal belongings.
      4. Please remain at or near the check-in table for the duration of the event to welcome any late-comers or to welcome back folks who finish early.
      5. Complete an Event Report Back form and send to staff after.
      6. Record your hours.
      7. Return your supplies to the office ASAP and clean your buckets.
