Public River Cleanup @ Soquel Creek

Join First District Supervisor and fellow Sanctuary Steward Manu Koenig for a river cleanup at Soquel Creek!

Help us clean up the Soquel Creek area at Bridge St before the rains come and wash all the trash out to sea! The trash that ends up on the beach also comes from our rivers and creeks. This area is a hidden gem connecting two sides of Soquel from Paper Mill Rd to Bridge St. The convenience store in the area means that people frequently litter food wrappers. Bathrooms available at the Quickstop with purchase or nearby Porter Memorial Library after 10am.

Please be sure to:

1. 1. 1. Be sure to follow and enforce our Social Distancing Cleanups Guidelines in addition to our normal safety precautions.
      2. Ensure all participants complete a waiver AND Covid-19 waiver and submit to Krista after the cleanup.
      3. Use the free Save Our Shores Marine Tally App (Apple, Google) or by using a data card and filling out this form.
      4. Complete an Event Report Back form and send to Krista (krista@saveourshores.org).
      5. Record your hours.
