Come together on February 24th at 6pm and connect with community as we reimagine the role of the Sanctuary Steward during and beyond the coronavirus global pandemic.

Throughout the past year many of us have had to switch gears and drastically alter our daily lives to accommodate social distancing, new health and safety concerns, and recurring shelter-in-place mandates. Save Our Shores is no exception and we, too, have had to adapt in the face of a changing reality. Without in person speaker series events, tabling events, or large group beach or river cleanups, we have have had to find new ways to deliver on our mission. We also understand that this has deeply impacted our Sanctuary Steward community, a role that primarily supports our public programming.

But in the face of adversity our Stewards have prevailed! You have all inspired us by continuing to help us to save our shores, and finding new and innovative ways to support and promote ocean conservation using your unique skillsets and capabilities.

During this event, we will review the history and mission of our beloved 42 year old organization, share inspiration for continuing this important work, and strategize new ways to protect our beloved Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary throughout the pandemic and beyond. We hope to see you there! RSVP by registering for this event.
